Radio is now your “music sponsor”

It’s hard to get a feel for what the new Radio 92.9 format will be like with all the mixed messages they are putting out over the air waves. Right now it sounds the same since they still have George Knight running the Sunday Morning Over Easy show. (I wonder what George is feeling/thinking now that he lost the bulk of his job. What about the others? I hope WBOS had the decency to give them all nice severance packages.)
Anyway, I’m listening to the Sunday morning show and now I’m really confused. They haven’t updated the all the promotional materials so they are still talking about 92.9 WBOS. Occasionally, they’ll intersperse some of the new promotions for Radio 92.9. Is it Radio 92.9 or WBOS? Can you please decide?
On another note, leave it to the marketing geniuses at WBOS to come up with a new slogan like this…
Why pay for music, when your music sponsor will foot the bill?
Um…what’s a music sponsor? Is that supposed to be a euphemism for my radio station?
